Matthew Stubstad is an LA-based director with a keen eye for visual storytelling and character-driven content. His short film, DATING STRANGERS, premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and his comedy sketch video, MONOPOLY OFFICIAL TRAILER, received over 2 million views and mainstream press coverage, including an interview with CNN. He’s directed numerous shorts (including work starring Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award-winner Paul Walter Hauser), branded content (including Mercury Insurance, Redemption Whiskey, Dole), commercials (including HeyGo, BMW, eBay), and music videos (including work for Oscar and Grammy-winner composer Ludwig Göransson). He is also an editor at the prestigious post house, Flawless Post. Stubstad attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and while Encinitas will always have a piece of his heart, he is a proud Angeleno-based filmmaker.
